MEDICAL DIRECTOR
TAYLOR NICHOLS
Dr. Taylor Nichols is a board-certified physician in both emergency medicine and addiction medicine, the medical director of Elev8 Impact, and the Chief Executive Officer of Transitions Addiction Medicine Group.
Additionally, he serves as the medical director at Transitions Clinic of Sacramento, an implementation leader with the CA Bridge Program through the Public Health Institute, volunteer clinical faculty at UC Davis Medical Center, and the Director of strategic initiatives with Sacramento Street Medicine.
Dr. Nichols completed medical school at UC Davis School of Medicine, residency training in Emergency Medicine at UCSF-San Francisco General Hospital, and fellowship training in Health Policy and Advocacy at UC Davis Medical Center. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in health policy and law at a combined program between UC Law SF and UCSF.
He is passionate about substance use disorders and recovery, treating vulnerable populations, physician wellness, and health care innovations.

BRANDEN TERRELL
Branden Terrell is the Founder and CEO of ELEV8, dedicated to transforming the lives of men through purpose-driven rehabilitation, recovery, and reintegration programs. With lived experience overcoming incarceration and addiction, Branden has built ELEV8 to bridge the gap between treatment and true transformation. His leadership is fueled by a passion for personal accountability, faith, and rebuilding strong men, families, and communities. Under his guidance, ELEV8 is setting a new standard for recovery, leadership development, and reintegration services.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Kenny Lunsford
Kenny Lunsford is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of ELEV8, bringing 20 years of experience in mental health, addiction treatment, and trauma-informed care. Having personally overcome addiction and deep family trauma, Kenny is uniquely positioned to connect with and guide those seeking recovery. His expertise in evidence-based treatment, therapeutic interventions, and long-term recovery strategies ensures that every client receives personalized, high-quality care. As a leader and mentor, Kenny is committed to helping men heal, rebuild, and reclaim their lives, using his compassion, structure, and firsthand experience to drive lasting transformation.
